Definetly more along the lines of the holiday spirit than my holiday deviation, this year... XD
Hmmn, thanks for reminding me about the mistletoe, by the way - Need to grab some of that and find a cute girl... Bwa ha ha ha...

Life can only be understood in reverse, but must be lived forward.
It almost makes me sad how much you've advanced since I've last taken a look at your wonderful work. I've been gone for so long, and everyone who was leaps and bounds ahead of me is now centuries ahead. However, it's worth it to be back just to get a chance to see it all again, and I'm really glad to see that your sense of humour and style of comic storyboarding hasn't skipped a beat. Still solid as ever.
It's the subtle works within this comic that really bring out its strength. Things around the background and just lightly sown into the foreground that really make the whole thing feel complete, even for something that is as simple as a slide to slide comic transition. The first thing that really drew me into this was the facial expressions. Mostly the first two slides, and the amount of detail on the far left character's eyes, mouth and just shape/angle of all facial features. The first facial expression is wonderful, considering the overall difficulty of the angle it is presented. Downwards is always a tough one to tackle, especially at a 1/4 frontal view, so when you manage to pull it off looking so detailed I really am impressed. The right hand in both panels of the same character looks a bit sloppy, the only real weakness of that whole character design.
The background looks very nice, love the fact that Ku is wandering around in the background fiddling with stockings. The very last panel with Ku looks a bit ick, mostly just the hand positioning and size on the face. Seems that the hand work in this one fell as the biggest weakness throughout. In terms of foreground, though, I love the fact that the X-Mas box has a little sweatdrop ever so subtly placed on it. That really made me laugh, right at the spot of the punchline too.
Line art on the boxes are a bit...sketchy (no pun intended) Doesn't seem as fluid or strong as the characters of some of the strokes in the background. Kind of takes away a bit of the quality overall. However, the wonderful character art is the main atraction, and you've take care of the line art there in spades.
Funny, well designed and well done comic. Merry Christmas, Ku. Hope you get everything you want and more.
Hmmm, it seems that once again I can't find anything to critique... ^-^; the toning couldn't possibly get any better, nor could that great touch you've got going on with the thick outlines... And the characters' facial expressions are tres amusant. ^-^ This is just right for a Christmas giggle.
Why's it always Merry Christmas?.. why not Pippen Christmas...
Happy Holidays, im standing here for all ladies to see... and smooch!
